Lustral was started by floor specialists who got tired of being grouped in with general janitorial. There is a category of work — concrete polishing, epoxy coating, hardwood refinishing, deep VCT restoration — that requires real equipment, real chemistry knowledge, and crews that have done it hundreds of times. We chose to be specialists. Lustral owns its equipment instead of renting. Our planetary grinders, high-speed burnishers, autoscrubbers and dust extractors are bought, maintained and calibrated. Our crews specialize by surface. The concrete crew is not the hardwood crew.
